All Jane Macintosh's jewellery is individually made using traditional goldsmithing skills and with close attention to detail.  She combines silver with high carat yellow and white gold, and uses a matte finish which shows the subtle contrasts of tone and colour and makes her jewellery very tactile.  She uses precious and semi precious gemstones as highlights and also seeks out beautiful and unusual larger stones to create unique pieces which are both a pleasure to wear and stand alone as sculptural objects.

The apparent simplicity of her designs makes them cool and timeless.  The artists and designers of the Bauhaus movement have been a major influence on her work, as has the urban landscape in which she lives and works.

As all her pieces are one-off, the jewellery in the images shown may not still be available.  They illustrate the style and range of her work.
